I've been following Michelin-starred chef Graham Elliot on Twitter, and it looks like Grahamwich (615 N. State St.) is set to open any day now, and I seriously don't know how much longer I can wait. Luckily, the menu is out, so I can dream about delicious-sounding items like the Thanksgiving-perfect turkey confit sandwich, served on a pretzel roll with candied yams, stewed cranberries, field greens, and sage mayo. I'll definitely be ordering that with the G'wich chips: Yukon potatoes, fresh herbs, bacon bits, cheddar cheese, and ranch powder. How decadent and delicious does that sound? I'll keep you updated on the opening, but keep reading to pick out the menu item that will hold you over until that wonderful day comes.

    Sandwiches (all $10)

  • Beef shortrib with baby watercress, shoestring potatoes, roasted shallots, creamy horseradish, and Hawaiian bread
  • Pastrami reuben with rutabaga sauerkraut, toasted caraway, gruyere fondue, 1000 island, and marbled rye
  • Turkey confit with candied yams, stewed cranberries, field greens, sage mayo, and pretzel roll
  • Grilled cheese with Wisconsin cheddar, shaved prosciutto, tomato marmalade, cheese curds, and pullman loaf
  • Jibarito press with pork shoulder, pickled mango, queso fresco, habenero mustard, and crispy plantains
  • Smoked whitefish with shredded carrots, salted almonds, raisin chutney, curry aioli, and Indian naan
  • Veggie wrap with grilled tofu, alfalfa sprouts, sunflower seeds, whipped avocado, and spinach tortilla
  • Banh mi with pork belly, roasted pineapple, daikon slaw, shiitake mushrooms, and French baguette
