Kate Middleton would definitely approve of The 900 Shops' newest store, set to open this Spring right around the time of her royal wedding. L.K. Bennett, named for founding designer Linda K. Bennett (nicknamed the queen of the kitten heel across the pond), is super well known in England. But the new L.K. Bennett (900 N. Michigan, 3rd Fl.) will introduce the sleek, sophisticated brand to Chicago, which, with the openings of Ted Baker London on Rush and the upcoming Topshop on Michigan Avenue, might have to consider waving the Union Jack from the top of the John Hancock.

Founded in Wimbledon, London, in 1990, the fashion house offers incredibly stylish collections of shoes, clothing, handbags, and accessories. I can totally picture Miss Kate wearing the outfit below, the lace-overlay Lexi Dress with the totally covetable Lola clutch and Andrea sandal (seriously, how cool is that shoe?). L.K. Bennett's designs don't come cheap — footwear ranges from $250 to $380, dresses are around $350 to $400, and handbags are $275 to $495 — but it's worth it to look like a royal, right?
