One of my favorite places in the world, Harbor County, is located just 70 miles from the city and includes the charming towns of Union Pier, Sawyer, and Three Oaks, all located within a few minutes drive of one another and close to the shores of Lake Michigan. While nature lovers and antique hunters have plenty of reasons to make the trek, I recently discovered the newest draw: wine, whiskey, and beer! With a new brewery and distillery attracting Chicago's best chefs, I decided to create my own booze tour of Harbor County, and ended up having a very fun, informative, and, yes, slightly buzzed afternoon.
