Think Wrigleyville is just generic sports bars and cheap beer? Think again. Brand new hot spot Deuce's & the Diamond Club (3501-3505 N. Clark St., 773-644-5554) brings a new level of sophistication and cool to the Cubs' backyard. 555 International (the stylish brains also behind Girl & the Goat and GT Fish & Oyster) created the awesome bilevel space, owned by the team behind Casey Moran's. The space has an industrial, vintage feel and is divided into three areas. The first floor, Deuce's, has multiple seating areas, a private party space, and a menu of gourmet burgers and more than 75 craft brews. The Diamond Club on the second floor offers worn-leather sectionals, reclaimed-wood flooring, an incredible view of the scene on Clark Street, and (my favorite part) a vintage photo booth. But, while weather permits, the most happening space will definitely be the outdoor patio, complete with 10-foot-high sliding glass walls, opening up to a large urban garden with eight private cabanas, tons of greenery, and a reflecting pool.
