Chalk this up to the most exciting thing to come to the Loop, well, since Crumbs cupcakes. After years of rumors, it seems Target will be opening a 120,000-square-foot-plus store in the former Carson Pirie Scott building at 1 S. State St. sometime around fall 2012.
