Why reserve your socialite status for the weekends alone? Spring has officially arrived, so dig yourself out of Winter hibernation mode and check out one - or more - of these events happening around town.

Love the new Fox police drama The Chicago Code? It's worth checking out for the action and the fact that it is actually filmed here. Trade your couch for a plush chair or bar stool at the Lobby Lounge (150 W. Roosevelt Rd., 312-564-2100) on Monday, April 11, and settle in for The Chicago Code viewing party. The 150-seat lounge (nestled in the Kerasotes Theater in the South Loop) will project all the action on 50-inch televisions, and if the show isn't enough to entertain you, the view of the Chicago skyline will. The show starts at 8 p.m., but you can enjoy food specials and themed cocktails like the Officer in Route at the bar (pictured) all night long.

Must Shops: Cerato Puts on a Local Designer Fashion Show Tonight

Cerato Boutique is always a huge supporter of Chicago fashion, but tonight the Southport shop is joining forces with the Creative Lounge (1564 N. Damen Ave., third floor) for a sweet shopping event totally dedicated to Windy City clothing and accessory designers. Check out styles from Chicago's best, including Elise Bergman, Lara Miller, Kristin Hassan, Sophia Reyes, Anna Fong, and C/FAN. A fashion show will feature Spring looks from all of the designers, and guests will be able to special order pieces from the show. Also on hand will be Chicago accessories designers Jules (one of my absolute faves) and Paoo. There's no need to RSVP, but I would make an effort to show up before the 7:30 show start time to get a good spot. And if you can't make it tonight, don't worry: Cerato (3451 N. Southport Ave., 773-248-8604) is offering 20 percent off all Spring merchandise this weekend, March 4 to 6.
